The 2012 Grammy nominations were announced last night. Topping this year’s list is Kanye West with 7 noms followed closely by Adele, Bruno Mars and the Foo Fighters. Album of the year…we’re thinking Lady Gaga or Adele. The Awards air on February 12th.

Adreas Gursky, the German visual artist known for his landscape color photographs set an auction record for his photograph ‘Rhein II’ (pictured above). The picture fetched $4.3 million at Christies Auction House making it the most expensive photograph ever sold. The previous record was a Cindy Sherman at $3.9 miliion.
