...Leave your dress shoes at the door and break out your dancing shoes, with all the hype surrounding Control, the new Joy Division film, this quirky lil alt dance track couldn't have come at a more appropriate time
03 THE HOOSIERS - "Goodbye Mr A"
...Remember Jeyllyfish? clearly we aren't the only ones who do...so do the Hoosiers- already a number one single and CD across the pond this is yet to be released here-great pop
04 OASIS - "Lord Don't Slow me Down"
...Ahh, new old material from the fighting brothers, just in time for the film that bears a similar name. classic Beatles Oasis
05 ORSON - "Ain't No Party"
...Highly touted on thenewblog, this Angelinos had to go to London just to score a hit, couldn't do it on our soil..depressing or brilliant , depending on how you look at it..Maroon 5 has nothing on these perfectly crafted adult pop songs
06 RADIOHEAD - "Bodysnatchers"
...One of the only tracks on this new CD which brings us back to days of The Bends but hell who cares, well take even one song from that era after tons of electronic bleeps
07 NINE BLACK ALPS - "Bitter End"
...One of our favorite new tracks of late, this does not sound like the B rate Nirvana making it way round radio a few years ago, this almost reminds of us of the Lemondheads in their prime but either way, a great song is a great song
08 THE HIVES - "Wont Be Long"
...The Hives return doing what they know best, making punkish rock n roll with larger than life hooks ala Blurs best at times, super cool track and one of our favs from the new CD
09 LETHAL BIZZLE - "Police on My Back"
...A classic Clash cover done Hip hop style, only in London and only available here not on Itunes
10 PAOLO NUTINI - "Rehab"
...Coming full circle we return to Radio Ones Live Lounge 2, the 2 CD set with cool covers of current artists..yet another contemporary chooses Amy to redo..go Paolo..

01 HARD FI - "Television"
...One of the best new Cds out there from the London chaps, great sophmore outing, part are reminicent of the Clash parts of New order..go figure..in the end, its all about the songs
02 BIFFY CLYRO - "Machines"
...Great ballad from these Scots...very powerful live band, go download their hits, dammit
03 EDDIE VEDDER - "Far Behind"
...solo outing from Into the Wild proves the kids still got it
04 MARK RONSON AND AMY WINEHOUSE - "Valerie"
...Although we are getting a bit tired of this same 60's sound Mark, this is still a great song and a cool mix
05 REVEREND AND THE MAKERS - "18 30"
...Hottest tipped band we told you about ages ago. Duran Duran for the year 2008
06 TESLA - "Shooting Star"
...old school rock n roll they way it was mean to bit, hail to the long haired rock gods

01 CALVIN HARRIS - "Merry Making at My Place"
...In the vein of LCD soundsystem, Calvin is single handling trying to bring back the disco synth groves across the pond...as his 3rd single, this guy is on a roll and we are grooving right along with him!
02 THE CORAL - "Who's Gonna Find Me"
...Gloom and doom ala the Doors but the favorite band of the Artic Monkeys is bringing it home on this new release...long live brit rock!
03 THE CULT - "Dirty Little Rockstar"
...what can we say? even if this is not the BEST song this band has ever recorded...does it matter? They are one of the best bands ever! damn!
04 GOODBOOKS - "Turn it Back"
...cool new band with a great pop sensibility, will it be big here in the US? Id be surprised if it even gets a release here!
05 THE HIVES - "Tick Tick Boom"
...oh we love the Hives and once again, not the best song of this lots but again, with a band this charismatic does it matter I ask you?
06 KATE NASH - "Foundations"
...with the success of Lilly Allen all the labels are scurrying about trying to discover the next...Kates a strong contender
07 KULA SHAKER - "Second Sight"
we gotta admit, we kinda liked the Tiki Hindu inspired Oasis rock of Kula from awhile ago, while it wasnt this song we are still waiting to see what they have up their sleeve again
08 RILO KILEY - "The Moneymaker"
...Jenny Lewis and the bunch delivering great solid songs...once again
09 WHITE ROSE MOVEMENT - "ALSATION"
...in celebration of the ONE music CD colloboration for the Entourage soundtrack we picked this cook track from the London Glammers...
10 1990s - "See You at the Lights"
See you at the Lights....great band, great song, long live Supergrass!!!!!

...already a huge hit overseas, super catchy electro disco track..I like all the girls..nuff said

...go out and get this track..rock ala Foo Fighters from overseas but a little more intellectual...if you can imagine that - chances are it wont see the light of day here unless you get it!
05 JUSTICE - "Phantom Pt. II"
...super cool French Duo take electronica to the next level, Chic meets Fatboy Slim with a bit more crunk in there...
06 STEREOPHONICS - "Bank Holiday Monday"
...ummm, dont think we have that in this country but regardless, great Rod Stewart-ish hard alt rock once again from across the pond..only avail via download for the time being
07 SILVERCHAIR - "Straight Lines"
...think this 'lil kid grew up and it's kinda adult contemporary alt pop but nonetheless a good song is a good song...kinda reminds me of coldplay..hmmm
08 THE TWANG - "Either Way"
...cool new Brit pop...all the buzz in London but yet to break here
09 ASH - "Polaris"
They return with their new all male lineup...great brit hard pop, good songs
