Adreas Gursky, the German visual artist known for his landscape color photographs set an auction record for his photograph ‘Rhein II’ (pictured above). The picture fetched $4.3 million at Christies Auction House making it the most expensive photograph ever sold. The previous record was a Cindy Sherman at $3.9 miliion.
